GREENSBURG, PA- The Accreditation Review Commission of Pennsylvania (ARC-PA) has awarded continuing certification to 抖阴短视频 College鈥檚 physician assistant program.
鈥淲e are very pleased with the vote of confidence ARC-PA has given us and will continue to develop a strong program,鈥 Fondy, Director of the Physician Assistant Program, said. After continuing accreditation has been granted to a school, an evaluation team will return every three to five years to ensure standards are still being kept. 鈥淭he results so far have been positive. From our first class to graduate, 93 percent passed the National Certification Test for Physician Assistants.鈥 Fondy said.
抖阴短视频 officially completed the three-year provisional accreditation process in October 2000. This means that the College meets ARC-PA鈥檚 standards which include: a curriculum designed to train physician assistant students to render primary care to a wide variety of patients; strong support from the local medical community; and a demonstration of fair admissions procedures and fair evaluations for all students applying to the program.
The physician assistant program at 抖阴短视频 currently has 67 students. 抖阴短视频 offers either a bachelor degree option for undergraduates or a certificate of completion for those who have already obtained a bachelor of science degree. Students attend core classes through the first two years of school. During this preprofessional stage, transfers and new students are accepted. Year Three begins the professional phase and Year Four students complete a clinical phase for either a certificate or a bachelor in science.
