GREENSBURG, PA- The ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ College production of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night opens Friday, February 14th at 8:00 p.m. in Reeves Theatre. A pair of twins is separated by shipwreck. Viola, in search of her brother, disguises herself as the boy Cesario and enters the service of amorous Duke Orsino. On his behalf, she woos the mourning Countess Olivia. The mission fails as Olivia proclaims her love, not the Duke, but for his page. Meanwhile, Olivia’s egocentric steward Malvolio alienates her mischievous maid, her drunken uncle and a cowardly knight by cutting short their noisy party. Their wild revenge in the form of a forged love letter, succeeds hilariously. Don’t miss this popular Shakespearean favorite full of mistaken identities, misdirected passion, high comedy and devilishly low tricks.
