Sue McMurdy, executive vice president and CIO of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation, and Thaddeus Clements, executive vice president, strategic resources, of First Commonwealth, visited with President Boyle on July 2, 2008 to discuss the progress of the University Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Greensburg. During the meeting, the First Commonwealth representatives also presented President Boyle with a check for $100,000, representing a payment on the bank’s leadership pledge of $400,000 to the Center. First Commonwealth remains a loyal and dedicated friend to ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ. The bank’s early and significant vote of confidence in the University Center for the Performing Arts helped engage others in the project. First Commonwealth’s generous commitment will name the E. James Trimarchi Community Music Wing in the Center. E. James Trimarchi served for many years as Chairman of the Board for First Commonwealth before his death in 2006.
