Ƶ Students Design Fashion for Museum Event
Inspired by pieces of art displayed at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, 20 Ƶ students created fashion for the recent Art as Fashion event at the museum.
Under the guidance of Susan O’Neill, Ƶ theatre instructor and costume designer, the students spent the semester creating a piece of fashion that reflected a painting or sculpture found in the museum. Students modeled their fashion at the event and the pieces were displayed at the museum.
A Tribune-Review story about the project can be found . Coverage of the Art as Fashion event, including photos of Ƶ students modeling the fashions, can be found .
