Physician Assistant Grad Finds a Home In Emergency Medicine
Jana Wolfe fell in love with emergency medicine work during her clinical year of 抖阴短视频鈥檚 Physician Assistant program, and she has been working in emergency medicine ever since.
Since April 2015, she has served as a PA at Mon Health Medical Center鈥檚 ER in Morgantown. She loves the variety of cases and patients she treats.聽
鈥淲e see both complicated and less severe cases, which allows us to keep our skills honed and medical knowledge broad,鈥 Wolfe says. 鈥淚 can see anything from trauma to a well- child check all in one day, which is why I love this field.鈥澛
"Both my undergraduate and graduate years prepared me beyond words for my career.鈥澛
Wolfe says she wouldn鈥檛 be the provider she is today without her years at 抖阴短视频, where 鈥渂oth my undergraduate and graduate years prepared me beyond words for my career.鈥澛
She has gratitude and respect for her professors during her undergraduate years, but she especially bonded with the ones from her graduate phase, including Dr. Jim France, Cathy Bickerton, Richard Hutchinson, David Majiros, Crystal Trasoline, and Allison Turgeon. They were her teachers, mentors and cheerleaders.聽
鈥淓very one of them, and all of the adjunct professors, were essential to my education and deserve so much credit for what they do,鈥 she says.聽
