Professor Michael Cary’s Book, Hope in Hard Times, Receives Arthur St. Clair Award
“Hope in Hard Times: Norvelt and the Struggle for Community During the Great Depression,” co-authored by Dr. Michael Cary, Ƶ professor of history and political science, has been awarded the Arthur St. Clair Historic Preservation Award. This award honors individuals, organizations, businesses or educational institutions that have made a significant and sustainable contribution to the preservation of Westmoreland County’s rich historic places, documents, records or stories.
