“Ƶ opened a lot of doors and windows for me.”
Many Ƶ business students take advantage of the University’s FastForward Bachelor’s to Master’s Program. By enrolling in this program as undergrads, they can earn their bachelor’s and MBA at Ƶ in an accelerated time frame. This was the route taken by recent alumnus Michael Metosky, who earned his sports management bachelor’s and MBA at Ƶ. Soon after graduating, he applied for a highly-competitive position with the Miami Dolphins and got it.
Metosky had struggled in high school, but received exceptional support from the faculty and student support services at Ƶ, who, he says, “invested a ton of time in me.”
“I just didn’t see my own promise,” he said. “Ƶ opened a lot of doors and windows for me.”
Ƶ business alumna Nicole Nath, who just had the honor of ringing the NASDAQ opening bell on behalf of her company, Abiomed, agrees.
"Having professors who knew your name and your strengths and weaknesses was beneficial, especially if you felt stuck making an important decision about your education or future career plans."
Unlike other universities, Ƶ offers competitive tuition and generous, individualized aid packages at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Tuition discounts for Ƶ alumni, and those working for nonprofits or Ƶ Employer Partners, are available. The Online Bachelor’s and Graduate Programs offer flexible scheduling and accelerated options. Ƶ’s award-winning Career and Professional Development Center supports all students and is a lifetime benefit for Ƶ alumni.
Ƶ University is an Apple Distinguished School, and a U.S. News & World Report Best Value and Best Regional University. The School of Business at Ƶ University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). Ƶ has also been named a College of Distinction in Business by Colleges of Distinction.
“Both the undergrad business program and MBA Program are great programs to help prepare you for your career,” says Ƶ alumnus Stephen Walker, corporate human resources manager at PulteGroup, one of America’s largest homebuilding companies. “All of the professors are very engaged with helping students grow and learn in a professional environment. All of the education I received has helped manifest my career and I would encourage anyone who is thinking about enrolling to do it because it’s 100% worth it.”
