Digital interconnectivity drives growth in everything from financial markets to healthcare – and it also provides evolving opportunities for cybercrime. ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s Cybersecurity Program will prepare you to protect vital data from theft and essential systems from attack.

Your Future in Cybersecurity

Students graduating from ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ with a degree in cybersecurity are prepared for a wide array of jobs, including:

  • Information Security Analyst
  • Data Security Administrator
  • Information Security Officer
  • Information Systems Security Administrator

Career & Professional Development Center

According to U.S. News and World Report, the number of jobs in cybersecurity will grow at a rate of 36.5% through 2022, which is much higher than the average. When it comes to pay, the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that the lowest 10% of positions in the field earned $50,300 annually, while the highest 10% - positions requiring a bachelor's degree - earned more than $140,460. This nationwide trend holds true in the Pittsburgh market, with cybersecurity job postings growing rapidly at three times the rate of IT jobs overall since 2010.
