¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ Summer Academy

Start Strong

The 2024 Summer Academy will be held July 21 - August 9.

The Summer Academy is a special opportunity to get a head start on your college experience. This invitation-only program for new first-time freshmen allows you to spend 3 weeks on ¶¶Òõ¶ÌÊÓƵ’s campus prior to the start of the academic year.  During this time, you will:

  • Take a 1-credit college success course and either a 3-credit Math course or a 3-credit English course (tuition-free).
  • Meet many of your new classmates and professors in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Get used to living, dining and hanging out on campus.
  • Be introduced to the key personnel and campus services that will help you succeed academically.

The COVID pandemic has created unique challenges for new students transitioning to college. This program is designed to provide the support and resources you need to feel confident and college-ready.

While space is limited, participation is strongly encouraged for students accepted through the Griffin Success Program. Housing and meals are provided. A $2,500 award is given to students who successfully complete the program and remain enrolled for the fall semester.

Registration is required.  Please use the form below to reserve your spot in this program. Registration deadline is July 12.
